As we look to 2024, it’s a great time to reflect and set new dog training goals. Often personal health and wellness are at the top of the list for new year’s resolutions. But how do our dogs figure into our resolutions?

Wellness encompasses mind, body, and soul. One supports the others and if one is off, it throws the others off. We all want balance and wellness in our lives.  When our dogs throw us off balance we think a lot about changes that will make a difference.

Having a dog that barks, lunges, pulls, and doesn’t listen can be difficult to live with. Committing to changing these behaviors in your dog can be an important personal goal for 2024.

Through a Dog Coach program you can learn how to be calm and confident to lead your dog to better behavior. Being a confident leader is a benefit for every dog regardless of breed. By setting boundaries and clearly communicating higher expectations to your dog you begin the process of bringing more balance to life and start to train the ideal family dog.

A calm dog is a healthy dog. Stress can make us unwell and the same goes for canines. Through training and building a better relationship with your dog, we help you foster expanded wellness that translates to your family and your home life.

Whether you’re just starting out or have completed one of our programs, consider these reflections for 2024:

  • How much training progress have you and your dog made?
  • What was your dog like when you got them or at their worst?
  • Do you have next step dog training goals?
  • If you could change something about your dog’s behavior, what would it be?

What our clients have to say...

Dog Coach listened carefully and observed keenly my interaction and tone of voice with Bella. At nearly 6 months now, she is the best-trained dog I've had. It was a worthwhile experience!

Margaret B.

We want to thank Dog Coach for your patience and encouragement! Our dogs are really coming into their own as the perfect family dogs we were looking for!

Such a great investment! We got a puppy and had a toddler... It was overwhelming at first. Working with Dog Coach has been the gift that keeps on giving.
