Dog Coach Training Review

Check out what another Medford resident has to say about our dog training:

“We rescued a dog from Turks and Caicos and this was our first rescue and big dog experience. It was very overwhelming because Chanel came with a lot of anxiety and was very fearful of men. We sent Chanel to a two-week board and train which helped a lot but she still needed some work and we also needed to learn how to use the e-collar that came with that training.

Dog Coach remote collar training lessons were able to address these issues effectively. With their expertise and understanding of canine behavior, they were able to create a safe and supportive environment for Chanel to overcome her fears. The trainer’s patience and dedication in working with Chanel, along with their ability to tailor the training sessions to your dog’s specific needs, played a significant role in the positive changes we observed.

My husband’s involvement in the training process was also crucial, and the trainer provided guidance on how to build trust and establish a positive relationship with your dog. Overall, the trainer’s ability to address my dog’s fear of humans, specifically men, and their commitment to helping my dog listen and respond to my husband’s commands is commendable. We highly recommend this personal trainer for their exceptional skills in training dogs with anxiety and fear-related issues.” – Jessie M.

Dog Training Tip for Medford: Running Off

Having a dog that runs off can be a real pain. But the short-term solution is simple: keep your dog leashed and use a dog crate. In the house, Full crate training is a way to manage your dog and give them a job to do. It also is a safeguard so your dog doesn’t slip out the door accidentally.

Leashing your dog, whenever not in the crate, is the next step to keep your dog from running off. This means keeping the leash on inside as well as not letting your dog run free. It may feel like you’ll never be able to let your dog “run free” but off-leash freedom is first an on-leash exercise. Your dog will learn to respect your boundaries.

Before exiting a car, have your dog leashed. If he jumps out of the car when you open the door, either crate your dog in the car or tie him back.

When out walking, your dog stays on the leash. If you can’t reliably call your dog back, 100% of the time, he isn’t ready to be off-leash. Practicing long-line recall will increase your control and is a lesson our programs cover. Our remote collar training can help with willful or high-spirited dogs.
